Week 8: Electrical and HVAC rough in.

Roofing paper is up on the outside, and slats for the tiles to go up soon.
The home run!!! All the electrical wires run here... The breaker panel is on the outside. The security system is also being installed at this time.
The HVAC Unit is quite large, and the ducts coming out remind me of an octopus.
The can lighting in the kitchen will be nice.

Week 7: Windows, tubs and plumbing are in!

All the windows are in as well as plumbing. I think this week is electrical... We'll see. It's moving right along.

Week 6: Materials for rough in start arriving

I realize this is one whole week late... I've been pre-occupied with the sale of our current townhome. Even in a buyers market we got full asking price and are paying nothing extra. We had a home inspection and I have been worried (this is a loophole for the buyer to back out) even though i know the buyer is very excited just want to dot the i's and cross the t's.

Well not much happened from the last time. I going back out there today to see what else changed. I will post in a few hours the results... Make sure you check back to see.

Week 5: Framing complete

Look what happens when you blink... This is one week. On our little section of the street out of 6 houses 3 others had foundations poured, 1 had just been graded and sewage lines put in and the last nothing. We were the only house framed!!!
It even has a roof!!!

In the living room looking at the dining room and half wall then the family room and kitchen. We will be putting in a built in "Pass through" book case all the way to the ceiling on top of the half wall.
